What makes a good decoration? Are these money, time, materials, design or something else? Obviously our opinion as a company working in London and meeting enquiries from absolutely different people is that good decoration first of all is a concept and definition where all ‘if’ and ‘but’ are clear.
If you are a customer that requires only white walls, solid wood flooring, spotlights twisted in fine plastering, natural or ceramic tiles, wood doors, sliding doors to garden – we all can do it.
If you require more than that we can do probably something special, something that will catch anyone’s attention and what will add a great value to your house atmosphere and your house market price.
We know what does good decoration and we can offer you not only plastering and flooring but much more than that. On images below you can see examples of work we did for our clients, some of them were from the first scratch and to the final moment when you open door to your fully renovated house.
On images below you see a complex work on a pub in North London. That pub had the same destiny as many other pubs in UK now and was converted from a pub into a block of flats with new adjoining 3 storey and basement building build in wall to it on a pub yard. Images 5, 7 and 8 show how pub looked like before we undertook that job and other mages show work during development and conversion.
Internal condition of walls, floors, doors, was so bad that all of them were replaced, and before we replaced them we installed steel frame and shaft rising from basement up to loft roof. All floors before work commencement were in disposition to one level of the floor, so all door frames were damaged and curved. Pub had complete underpinning; one meter down and through in the basement under pub bearing walls. External pub walls looked ugly and untouched; large nice bindweed grew up the loft and totally covered pub was you see on image 8. We also refreshed all pub walls, so on images 1, 2 they look nice and clean. On image 7 you can see how loft looked like and on image 1, 2 how it looks now. That was a very complicated work demanding a lot of knowledge and craftsmanship. If you plan to convert or develop your property in something new and valuable let us know.
Drainage and ground works are essential part of any development. On images you see drainage works and ground works. On first three there are images of final stages of ground works on a pub, when surface below was levelled, prepared and finally we started laying drains and mains. Two last images show conversion of back garden in a lovely play yard for children and flat paved surface with embedded paving lights for lovely illumination in the evening. We did design of back yard, levelling and paving.
On images below you can see works we did on various properties. First is a house in Art décor style with a new extension build up following the pattern of brickwork on existing house. Just because we use new bricks new extension look fresher, if we would use old or recycled bricks in tone and composition then it would look exactly as the main house. Next two pictures show a house before and after refurbishment and development, it become slightly bigger and extension made kitchen nice and cosy. The rest of pictures show a house development in Surrey.
Below you can see images of works we done. On five images in upper line you see a back garden converted in a lovely and useful space. We did design of it, ground works, paving works on natural stone levelling all in one line. Work with that stone was very complicated because of the difference in thickness of each single stone but final result delighted everyone. There are light embedded along stairs and across, so it looks spectacular from the house when evening darkness comes.
Next two images show parking build of red engineering brick. It was complicated job because as you may guess the surface is very sloppy, this is why we cut down and build a wall in front of the house, which gives some sort of privacy and protection from the wind. Next three images show lovely decking, fence made of timer and paving in a small yard.
Lofts definitely add value and space to any house and this is the main reason why loft conversion is so popular in overcrowded London. On images below you see new lofts in the process of construction and also old and inhabitable loft in process of conversion in two separate self contained flats. If there are certain and strict requirements for any loft shape and size constructed in London; depending on area plus your house neighbours add to that but ideas on internal decoration are totally up to you. We can help you with plans, approval, construction, interior design and decoration.
Photos below show remedial works on a house located in London. Condition of external house skin – walls was all right but all decorative features giving the house its beauty were lost and badly damaged by the weather and time. On images below you can see how decorative features looked like at the beginning of remedial works and after we finished working on them. If your house lost its beauty and you got something similar to restore please let us know if got plans to restore your house beauty and house value.
Working for many years in London we gained in structural and steel works very high proficiency, so we are those guys who can do it; we are not a decoration company that re-reselling service on steel work. Obviously on the top of steel work in your property we can lay any kind of decoration from simple plastering or tiling up to Venetian Plaster, but that is the steel and structural that shapes any house. If you have plans of moving or demolishing bearing walls, underpinning or getting rid of a crack in the wall and don’t have plans yet, let us know and we will do structural calculations and draw plans for you. If you don’t mind paying an architect or decoration company thousands of pounds on the top of what we change go for that or if you do count, we can do a complex project for you, so you will have great savings on visits of your architect. ALL structural works in UK are closely monitored and certified by Building Control officers only and not by an architect. We undertake complex projects and we deliver quality you expect. There are some examples in the gallery showing a complex steel / structural work on a house and a pub in North London.
If you would like to have a beautiful and durable finish on your house walls and ceilings than go for Venetian Plaster. Plastering and Venetian Plaster are two very different things. We do plastering also and if you are on a budget and planning to sell your house in 4 years obviously go for ordinary plastering. Venetian Plaster is very popular between those people who value quality, duration, clean air and good energy inside their houses.
One of the most important health benefits of Venetian Plaster is the regulation of humidity inside your premises, it doesn’t dry air in your rooms and this is why it is better for people who care of health and skin. When air in rooms of your house is dry all the time just because surface (plasterboards) of walls and ceiling takes water from air, your skin and lungs are affected first of all plus electro-magnetic fields that penetrate through every single wall in London.
Other health benefits of Venetian Plaster are: hypoallergenic, natural insulator, resists mold, no odour, no harmful chemicals, absorbs carbon-dioxide from the air and help to maintain toxin free environment, AND beside of all that it is very easy to maintain, this is ‘green’ and durable, it definitely add a very good value to your property!
We can do any finish you like; depending on Venetian Plaster type we can imitate different type of natural stone, including marble. On pictures below you can see different finish with Venetian Plaster. As we mentioned before we can take care of whole job including interior design, supply of furniture and interior decorative elements, decoration including Venetian Plaster.
